Kelly Butz

CEO

Kelly Butz has been with Magna IV Engineering since 2004 in progressive roles leading to him becoming CEO in late 2016. With an education in both Electrical Engineering and Management, he feels equally comfortable reading financial statements and time-current coordination curves.
His early experience included engineering studies and design, hands-on field experience on large commissioning and maintenance turnaround projects, project management, and sales. In his managerial roles, Kelly has been a supervisor, branch manager, department manager, multi-regional Vice President, and now CEO.
As a part of the Magna team, Kelly has helped the company grow from $10M to a peak of $47M in annual sales, and from one office to ten offices.
Kelly resides in Edmonton, AB with his wife and two children, and will forever be almost done renovating his 100-year-old house.
